SYNKET · FOR BUSINESSES

Automate workflows while staying in control

Automation in action turns a defined workflow into something your team can use every day. Synket connects the tools, builds the steps and tests how they work together. The aim is less manual handling and more time for valuable work, with clear boundaries around what the technology is allowed to do.

Start with work that happens repeatedly

A useful starting point is recurring work with a clear trigger and an outcome that can be checked. It needs a responsible owner and reasonably stable procedures. If every case requires a completely new judgement, automation may be better limited to preparing information for a person.

An illustrative example is an approved order that prepares a project, creates tasks and gathers delivery information. Another is progress information collected from several tools for a review. We choose the scope around your business, rather than the number of steps that could technically be connected.

Integration, automation and AI do different jobs

An integration lets systems exchange information. Automation determines when something happens and under which rules. AI can help interpret or structure information when inputs vary. A better workflow does not necessarily need all three.

When the information is already well defined, fixed rules may be a suitable choice. If we use AI, we define the expected output, how it should be reviewed and when the process should stop. We assess the connections available in your existing systems before promising a particular integration.

What needs to be ready before development

The work starts from discovery findings or an approved brief. This should describe the beginning and end of the workflow, the information it uses, the systems involved and who decides what happens with exceptions. We also need to test representative cases and agree what counts as an acceptable result.

Permissions, licences and technical capabilities affect implementation. For example, a system may limit how frequently information can be retrieved or which records can be changed. We review necessary access and data handling before implementation. Accounts and API keys belong in appropriate environments, with access limited to what the assignment requires.

From an agreed process to a tested solution

We describe the steps and decide which system provides the authoritative source for each piece of information. This helps prevent tools from overwriting one another. We also define how an interrupted run can resume and how repeated events should be handled without creating duplicate records.

We then build and test routine cases and relevant exceptions. Missing information, denied access and temporarily unavailable systems need a defined response. Someone responsible on your side reviews the outcome before the agreed workflow enters use. The timeline is established once the scope and dependencies are known.

Human checkpoints belong inside the workflow

We design the workflow to require human approval before anything is sent, paid or deleted. It should be clear what is waiting for a decision and who owns the next step. The automation should not hide an uncertain result behind a successful status.

At handover, we explain what needs checking and how the workflow can be stopped. We also identify changes to your systems or procedures that could require adjustments. Ongoing monitoring, support and further development are included only when explicitly agreed as part of the engagement.

Delivery, measurement and costs

You receive the agreed workflow with documentation and a walkthrough for your designated owner. The documentation should make dependencies understandable and show how problems are escalated. We choose measurements that suit the original problem, such as manual handling per case or the number of exceptions requiring intervention.

Pricing depends on the number of connections, data quality, complexity, testing and operational requirements. Licences and usage-based services may involve separate costs. Scope, price and responsibilities are agreed before work starts. Synket works from Helsingborg with business clients in southern Sweden and remotely across the country.

  • A defined workflow with agreed functions and human checkpoints.
  • Testing against agreed cases and documentation of important limitations.
  • A handover to a designated owner in your team.
  • Explicit boundaries for any ongoing operations and support.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to replace our systems?

We examine your existing tools first. Integration options depend on factors including access, licences and the interfaces available. Any additional tools are discussed before you decide.

Is an AI agent always the best option?

No. A rule-based workflow may be sufficient. AI becomes relevant when a part of the work needs interpretation, with a defined task and an appropriate review process.

What happens when requirements change?

Changes to systems, permissions or working procedures may require adjustments and further tests. The documentation identifies important dependencies. Responsibilities and support after handover are defined in the engagement.
